Severe Infection

Multidisciplinary Research group accredited in 2011 and lead by Dr. Javier Pemán García. It is composed of 20 researchers, specialists in microbiology, infectious diseases, epidemiology, intensive medicine, pneumology and preventive medicine. The group belongs to RETIC. Their main objective is to develop basic epidemiological and clinical research in the infectious diseases field to improve diagnosis, survival rates, therapeutic management and quality of life of patients with serious infections.
