CYP450 enzyme activity assessment

Description

The method involves incubation of a biological sample with a model substrate cocktail. The phase I metabolites formed are then determined using a UPLC-MS/MS methodology.

Application

In vitro evaluation of the main activities of CYP450, one of the main enzymes in the Phase I metabolic mechanism.

Evaluation of the enzymatic activity of the UGTs.

Description

The method involves the incubation of a biological sample with a model substrate cocktail. The phase II metabolites formed are then determined using a UPLC-MS/MS methodology.

Application

In vitro evaluation of the main activities of UGTs, one of the main enzymes in the Phase II metabolic mechanism

Bile acid profiles

Description

Determination of 31 conjugated and unconjugated bile acids in serum, plasma and tissue samples using a UPLC-MS/MS-based methodology.

Application

Study of bile acid metabolism in physiological and pathological situations, especially in toxicological studies.

Determination of biomarkers of oxidative stress

Description

Determination of oxidative stress biomarkers of protein, lipid and DNA damage in serum, tissue or cell culture samples using a methodology based on UPLC-MS/MS.

Application

Reliable and rapid detection of homeostasis and oxidative damage at different biological levels.

Determination of eicosanoids

Description

UPLC-MS/MS methodology for the determination in tissue and serum samples of this family of compounds, which include leukotrienes, isoprostanes, prostaglandins and thromboxanes, known biomarkers of lipid peroxidation and inflammation.

Application

Study of endogenous oxidative stress and inflammatory state.
