Pharmacogenetics Unit

The Unit works with the Mass Array Sequenom®: PCR followed by MaldiTof Mass Spectroscopy.

This equipment allows, for 1 plate, the determination of 40 polymorphisms, in 40 different samples (patients), therefore: 1,600 determinations in a single study; and validated SNPs and candidate SNPs can be included (literature).
