Multiplex Analysis Unit
The Multiplex Analysis Unit consists of the Magpix equipment, which, by means of Luminex xMAP technology and using magnetic beads, allows multiple and simultaneous analyses of several analytes per sample.
It can be used for human biological samples such as plasma and serum, as well as other types of specimens such as cell lysates and/or cell culture supernatants. Among the services offered by the platform are: the provision of services to internal and external personnel for the multiplex analysis of proteins in biological samples (Magpix); advice on the applicability of this technique in the research projects of interested users; development of specific protocols and implementation of new applications.
