IIS La Fe launches the Research Portal to make the activity of research groups more visible

The portal, which brings together the scientific production and metrics of the 8 research areas of IIS La Fe, seeks to enhance the visibility of researchers and their results.

The Research Portal has been launched along with the redesign of the corporate website of IIS La Fe, with a new and more attractive appearance and functionalities.

The IIS La Fe, in collaboration with the company SEMICROL, has launched the Research Portal that collects detailed information on the researchers working in the 55 research groups of the center.

The portal brings together the scientific production and metrics of the 8 research areas of the institute in an organized, detailed, and updated way, together with that of the researchers and their scientific publications, projects, patents, theses, and events in which they participate.

This new tool seeks to enhance the visibility of researchers and their research results, so it has been designed with an organized, visual, and more accessible structure for consultation.

The section dedicated to research groups contains information on the personnel of each group, research lines, project metrics, theses, patents, theses and events. It also compiles graphic information on the evolution of publications by quartiles, impact factor and citations for each group over the last five years.

In addition, the portal has an interactive and detailed map of the national and international collaborations of the different research groups and of each researcher.

The records of the new research portal are fed by the Fundanet databases and the bibliographic sources Pubmed and WOS. A tool that exploits the Institute's R+D+i data and offers valuable information, improving the visibility of the scientific production of researchers at national and international level.

The main objective is to be an information reference point for the biosanitary environment and for companies, organizations and other collaborators who want to search or establish lines of research, researchers, and research groups.

The Research Portal is launched coinciding with the redesign of the corporate website of the IIS La Fe, with a modern and more attractive appearance and functionalities.
