The Board of Trustees of the IIS La Fe approves the new composition of the External Scientific Committee

The External Scientific Committee supports and advises the IIS La Fe on research priorities, programmes and activities for the promotion and dissemination of research, and proposes initiatives for its constant improvement. It is made up of renowned researchers in the biomedical and health sciences fields, both basic and clinical.

The Board of Trustees of IIS La Fe, chaired by the Regional Minister of Universal Health and Public Health, Miguel Mínguez, has approved the new composition of the External Scientific Committee (CACE) with the appointment of 5 new members, prestigious scientists from different national and international institutions. Thus, the list of members of the CACE is as follows

  1. Eugenio Santos. Centro de Investigación del Cáncer, Universidad de Salamanca-CSIC.
  2. Coral Barbas. Centro de Excelencia en Metabolómica y Bioanálisis (CEMBIO).
  3. Amparo Cano. Catedrática de Bioquímica y Biología Molecular. Departamento de Bioquímica. Facultad de Medicina. UAM.
  4. Juan Riese Jordá. Punto Nacional de Contacto Proyectos internacionales del ISCIII.
  5. Patricia van Dijck. Director Market Access & Public Affairs at GSK.
  6. Elli Papaemmanuil. Assistant Professor Computational Oncology Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
  7. Sonia Antoranz Contera. Associate Head of Department of Physics (ED&I). University of Oxford.

The CACE supports and advises the IIS La Fe on research priorities, programmes and activities for the promotion and dissemination of research and proposes initiatives for its constant improvement. It is made up of renowned researchers in the biomedical and health sciences fields, both basic and clinical.

Other agreements of the Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees also approved the indirect costs policy and the new models of contracts and fees for clinical trials and studies at IIS La Fe.
