La Fe Health Research Institute drives healthcare innovation with the launch of the INNOhealth Talks podcast
INNOhealth Talks by IIS La Fe is a podcast framed within the UCIE and funded by IVACE+i that gives a voice to the main stakeholders in healthcare innovation. Through six episodes, the initiative explores the healthcare innovation value chain, from clinical need to knowledge transfer and its impact on patients and society.
The La Fe Health Research Institute (IIS La Fe) has launched the podcast INNOhealth Talks by IIS La Fe, a strategic initiative aimed at highlighting and connecting the value chain of healthcare innovation, framed within the Scientific Unit for Business Innovation (UCIE) and funded by IVACE+i.
Under the claim "The voices of innovation", the podcast was created with the aim of giving a voice to the main stakeholders in the health innovation ecosystem and offering a comprehensive view of how innovation is generated, developed and transferred from the research and clinical environment to the market and its impact on patients and society.
Through a series of audiovisual conversations, INNOhealth Talks addresses the different stages of the knowledge valorisation and transfer process, placing the focus on public-private collaboration, mutual understanding between agents and the need to foster a shared culture of innovation.
Six episodes to explore the innovation value chain
The podcast consists of six episodes, each focused on a key actor within the innovation ecosystem. The series begins with a conversation on the role of health research institutes as drivers of innovation and knowledge transfer, and continues with episodes dedicated to the investor's perspective, the role of the clinician-researcher in identifying real needs, the university as a value-generating agent, the role of technology centres in scaling solutions, and finally, the role of startups as vehicles for transfer and ecosystem dynamisation.
The episodes feature leading profiles such as IIS La Fe representatives, clinician-researchers, university representatives, technology centres, private investors and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, offering a complementary and realistic view of the challenges and opportunities of innovation in health.
A digital format to boost knowledge transfer
INNOhealth Talks by IIS La Fe embraces an accessible digital format, with full episodes published on YouTube and disseminated through professional networks, with the aim of reaching a broad and diverse audience and reinforcing the visibility of the innovation and transfer initiatives promoted by IIS La Fe.
This initiative is part of the Institute's strategy to bring healthcare innovation closer to the business sector and society, facilitate understanding of transfer processes and contribute to accelerating the arrival of solutions with real impact on the healthcare system.
