La Fe Health Research Institute launches an annual Scientific Seminar series to strengthen internal collaboration and research visibility

The initiative promotes the visibility of research, collaboration across areas and the involvement of external experts.

La Fe Health Research Institute has launched a new internal Scientific Seminar series aimed at strengthening collaboration between research groups and increasing the visibility of the centre's research activity.

This initiative establishes an annual programme in which each Scientific Area of IIS La Fe will be assigned a period to organise a session. These sessions will present recent results, showcase the main research lines of groups and joint units, and address specific topics with the support of leading external speakers.

The series is designed with a threefold objective: to enhance the visibility of the Institute's scientific output, to foster synergies between areas and scientific-technological platforms, and to incorporate external perspectives through experts in strategic research lines.

The first session will take place on 6 May, organised by the Fertility and Maternal and Child Health Area, under the title "New advances in reproductive medicine: research, innovation and clinical applications." This meeting will mark the starting point of a programme that will run throughout the year.

With this initiative, IIS La Fe reinforces its commitment to more connected, collaborative research focused on knowledge transfer, in line with current challenges in the biomedical field.
