Genomic Unit
This Unit provides researchers and clinicians with the most advanced technologies in the field of genomics. In addition, it offers "à la carte" services to meet the needs of its users, including scientific advice from sample collection to bioinformatics analysis of the results.
Sequencing Service
- Sanger or conventional sequencing
- NGS_DNA seq sequencing: "a la carte" panels, whole exomes, clinical exomes, etc.
- NGS_RNA seq: RNA sequencing for differential expression, total RNA sequencing, microRNAs, sequencing of bacterial 16s RNA regions, etc.

Bioinformatics Service
- Bioinformatic analysis of gene expression (RNA seq or Arrays).
- Genomic bioinformatic analysis for molecular diagnosis (gene panels, exomes and genomes). Prioritization, interpretation of variants and elaboration of technical reports of genetic studies.
- Bioinformatics analysis of copy number variation (CNVs).
- Functional and interactome analysis.
- Metagenomics analysis.
- Development of customized scripts for each type of project.
Nucleic Acid Quality Service
- Quantification of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA)
- Determination of the integrity and quality of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA).
- Electrophoresis in agarose gels or Qiaxcel.
